In a continued effort to support sustainability in education, LRP Recycling recently partnered with a college in Pennsylvania to remove and recycle 37 desk and hutch units. While often overlooked, dorm furniture contains a significant amount of recoverable materials—and we’re proud to ensure those resources don’t end up in a landfill.
Environmental Impact
By recycling rather than discarding this furniture, we were able to:
♻️ Divert 3,663 pounds of waste
💧 Save 27,750 gallons of water
⚡ Preserve 166.5 days of energy
⛽ Offset 222 tanks of gas
