Mattress Recycling at MacDill Air Force Base: 346 Queen Sets

LRP Recycling recently completed a large-scale mattress removal and recycling project at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. A total of 346 Queen mattress and box spring sets were removed and responsibly recycled as part of the base’s commitment to sustainable operations.

Environmental Impact

This project diverted a significant amount of waste and preserved critical resources:

  • ♻️ 64,702 pounds of material recycled

  • 💧 346,000 gallons of water saved

  • 2,076 days of energy

  • 2,768 tanks of gas

At LRP Recycling, we’re proud to support military installations across the country with full-service mattress removal, logistics, and eco-friendly recycling solutions.

Recycle responsibly. Serve sustainably.
