Mattress Recycling in Pennsylvania: 286 Units at a Local University

LRP Recycling recently completed a large-scale recycling initiative at a Pennsylvania university involving the removal and responsible disposal of 286 Twin mattresses from student residences. These efforts not only support more sustainable campuses but also help divert bulky waste from landfills.

Environmental Impact

This project helped achieve:

  • ♻️ 15,444 pounds of waste diverted

  • 💧 143,000 gallons of water saved

  • 858 days of energy conserved

  • 1,144 tanks of gas saved

LRP Recycling works with colleges and universities across the country to streamline mattress removal and maximize sustainability outcomes.

Support a greener campus.
