Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Greenbush by IHG partnered with LRP Recycling to responsibly remove and recycle 30 queen mattresses and 95 king mattresses as part of a property upgrade initiative. This project reflects the hotel’s dedication to sustainability while maintaining the high standards of comfort and quality expected by guests.

Through LRP Recycling’s specialized mattress recycling process, valuable materials such as steel, foam, and fabric were recovered and diverted from landfills. This effort supports IHG’s global sustainability goals and reinforces the property’s commitment to environmentally responsible operations.

Environmental Impact:

• 18,080 pounds of material diverted from landfills

• 125,000 gallons of water conserved

• 750 days of household energy preserved

• 1,000 tanks of gas saved
