Hampton Inn & Suites Rome partnered with LRP Recycling to complete a large scale room refresh involving the removal and recycling of 96 queen mattress sets and 42 king mattress sets. This initiative reflects the hotel’s continued commitment to sustainability while delivering the comfort and quality guests expect from the Hilton brand.


Through LRP Recycling’s commercial recycling process, valuable materials including steel, foam, and fabric were recovered and diverted from landfills. By choosing certified recycling over disposal, the property reduced environmental impact and supported Hilton’s long term sustainability goals.


Environmental Impact:

  • 25,764 pounds of material diverted from landfills

  • 138,000 gallons of water conserved

  • 828 days of household energy preserved

  • 1,104 tanks of gas saved
