Courtyard by Marriott Providence Downtown partnered with LRP Recycling to coordinate the donation of two full trailers of furniture, including nightstands, sofas, chairs, desks, and dressers. Rather than sending usable items to landfills, the hotel chose to give these pieces a second life through responsible redistribution — reinforcing its commitment to both sustainability and community impact.
This initiative highlights the growing trend among hotels to adopt eco-friendly and socially responsible practices by reusing and donating instead of discarding.
