Residence Inn Greenville Refreshes Guest Rooms with Sustainable Mattress Recycling

Residence Inn Greenville partnered with LRP Recycling to complete a comprehensive room refresh that included the removal and recycling of multiple mattress types — 3 twin mattresses, 5 twin box springs, 10 full mattresses, 24 full box springs, 35 queen mattresses, 17 queen box springs, 27 king mattresses, and 36 king box springs.

This full-service project not only improved room quality for guests but also demonstrated the hotel’s continued commitment to sustainability and waste reduction.

Environmental Impact:

  • 19,583 pounds of material diverted from landfills

  • 165,000 gallons of water conserved

  • 990 days of household energy preserved

  • 1,320 tanks of gas saved

Residence Inn Greenville continues to lead by example, showing how thoughtful property upgrades can deliver both comfort and environmental benefits.
