RXO Virginia Completes Large Scale Mattress and Box Spring Recycling Project

RXO Virginia partnered with LRP Recycling to complete a major mattress and box spring recycling initiative involving 150 twin mattresses, 150 twin box springs, 150 full mattresses, 150 full box springs, 150 queen mattresses, 150 queen box springs, 150 king mattresses, and 150 king box springs.
This large scale project demonstrates RXO’s commitment to responsible logistics, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. Through LRP Recycling’s commercial recycling process, valuable materials including steel, foam, wood, and textiles were recovered and diverted from landfills, creating a significant positive environmental impact.
Projects of this scale showcase how logistics providers and distribution partners can play an important role in advancing sustainability through responsible recycling practices.

7,200 days of household energy preserved
