Last week, the LRP Recycling team headed to Austin, Texas to help the Renaissance Austin Hotel with their furniture and mattress removal and installation project. We were able to remove, recycle, and install 239 king sets and 506 queen sets for a total of 142,325 recycled pounds. These sets included both beds and mattresses!
Once the old bed sets were removed and the new ones were installed at the property, we recycled all of the old furniture and mattresses through the proper channels to ensure nothing ended up in landfills.
