Jordan’s Furniture Completes Large Scale Mattress and Box Spring Recycling Initiative

Jordan’s Furniture partnered with LRP Recycling to complete another major recycling initiative involving 100 twin mattresses, 54 twin box springs, 80 full mattresses, 84 full box springs, 150 queen mattresses, 34 queen box springs, 149 king mattresses, and 5 king box springs.
This large scale project reflects Jordan’s continued commitment to responsible retail operations and sustainable material management across its distribution network. Through LRP Recycling’s commercial recycling program, each mattress and box spring was properly dismantled to recover steel, foam, wood, and fabric for repurposing instead of landfill disposal.
Projects of this magnitude demonstrate how large retailers can create measurable environmental impact through strategic recycling partnerships.

3,936 days of household energy preserved
