Hilton New Orleans Airport partnered with LRP Recycling to complete a major room refresh initiative involving the removal and recycling of 240 full mattress sets and 198 king mattress sets. This large-scale project reflects the hotel’s commitment to environmental responsibility while continuing to elevate the guest experience.
Through LRP Recycling’s commercial mattress recycling process, valuable materials such as steel, foam, and fabric were recovered and diverted from landfills, helping reduce the environmental footprint of this upgrade.
Environmental Impact:
74,124 pounds of material diverted from landfills
438,000 gallons of water conserved
2,628 days of household energy preserved
3,504 tanks of gas saved
