Courtyard by Marriott Providence Downtown partnered with LRP Recycling to complete a major room refresh project involving the removal and recycling of 150 queen mattress sets and 153 king mattress sets. This large-scale initiative highlights the hotel’s commitment to sustainability while continuing to provide exceptional guest comfort.
Through responsible recycling and material recovery, valuable components such as steel, foam, and fabric were diverted from landfills and repurposed. This effort supports Marriott’s broader environmental goals and reinforces the property’s dedication to eco-conscious hospitality.
Environmental Impact:
60,804 pounds of material diverted from landfills
303,000 gallons of water conserved
1,818 days of household energy preserved
2,424 tanks of gas saved
