Macy’s Logistics & Operations Distribution Center partnered with LRP Recycling to responsibly remove and recycle 12 full mattresses, 15 queen mattresses, 25 king mattresses, and 4 king box springs.
This project reflects Macy’s ongoing commitment to responsible operations and environmental stewardship throughout its logistics network.
Through LRP Recycling’s commercial recycling program, mattresses and box springs were processed to recover valuable materials including steel, foam, wood, and textiles. By diverting these materials from landfills, the project contributed to conserving natural resources and reducing environmental impact.
