Grissom Air Reserve Base partnered with LRP Recycling to responsibly remove and recycle 76 queen mattress sets as part of their facility improvement initiative. This project supports the base’s ongoing mission to operate efficiently while maintaining a focus on environmental stewardship.

Environmental Impact:

• 14,212 pounds of material diverted from landfills

• 76,000 gallons of water conserved

• 456 days of household energy saved

• 608 tanks of gas preserved
